Art and Accessibility Educator Workshop with Deborah Stuart, accessibility consultant from VSAarts NH

Join Deborah Stuart, accessibility consultant on the arts and learning from VSAarts NH and Leah Fox, Currier Director of Public Programs for a full-day workshop exploring adaptive strategies for creating an inclusive art classroom. Explore adaptive art-making tools and materials, and learn new ways to engage students with disabilities in art-looking exercises. Significant time will be spent problem-solving real-life situations in your art rooms. Leave with new ideas and resources which will benefit all learners!

Appropriate for K-12 art educators. 5.5 PD hours available. Registration due Monday, May 7. $45 Currier educator members; $60 non-members. Please contact czuber@currier.org for registration. Plan to spend the rest of the afternoon celebrating Spring Art Fest at the Currier!

The New Hampshire Art Educators' Association is a professional organization for art educators from every level of instruction and those interested in the future of art education. For over 25 years, NHAEA has provided an exemplary networking opportunity and collegial support for art educators throughout New Hampshire.

In order to promote quality art education in NH, the New Hampshire Art Educators' Association will provide leadership, member services, art education advocacy, a format for communication and opportunities for professional development and participation.
